A coding assistant that reads and edits files in your project, runs commands with your permission, and keeps all of it on your own computer.
Pick the one that matches your computer. Apple Silicon is arm64; older Intel Macs are x64.
Open the .dmg and drag the app to Applications. The build is not
notarised yet, so the first launch needs right-click → Open rather than a
double-click — macOS will otherwise refuse it.
Run the .exe. SmartScreen will warn that the publisher is unknown,
because the installer is not code-signed yet: choose More info → Run anyway.
AppImages need to be marked executable before they will run:
chmod +x Aiskantha-Code-*.AppImage
./Aiskantha-Code-*.AppImage
On some distributions you may also need --no-sandbox, or
APPIMAGE_EXTRACT_AND_RUN=1 if your system has no FUSE.
The app checks for a newer version and tells you when one exists. It never downloads or installs anything by itself — you come back here and choose.
Your code stays yours. Files are read and written on your machine. Only your prompt, the files you attach, and your project's file names are sent to the model. No telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting.
